新斯科舍紧缺职业类省提名申请人，需拥有加拿大高中以上学历 或在世界范围内取得的等同于加拿大高中以上的学历。同时提供达到加拿大语言水平分级CLB4级或以上的英语或法语语言能力证明。
To be eligible for the Nova Scotia Occupations In Demand stream, applicants must have completed a minimum level of education equivalent to a Canadian high school diploma. As well, they must have language test results demonstrating proficiency in English or French at National Occupational ClassificationLevel 4 (CLB 4).
工作机会 Job Offer
符合条件的省提名申请人必须已获得新斯科舍省合规雇主提供的下列岗位有效工作机会之一。合规雇主需在拥有永久性固定经营场所的基础上至少积极运营两年。雇主需要通过获批劳动力市场评估批文或取得劳动力市场评估豁免，亦或是连续公开打广告持续招聘4周以上，以证明其付出足够的努力以证明无法招聘到本地人弥补岗位空缺。此类别不要求申请人一定在加拿大境内，但是境内的申请人如持有有效工签，雇主可以豁免打广告招聘，申请难度会明显更低。
对于在其他省份有下列工作经验的申请人，如工签未过期，这是个很值得考虑的项目。而且此类变更也是因为新省内目前有大量的职位空缺，所以找工作也相对容易。在紧缺的情况下，去餐厅找个服务员的工作也是再容易不过了。如果还未有足够的工作经验的申请人，可能需要额外考虑一下不确定性，毕竟这种项目会随时调整，等凑到了工作经验，项目是否有变或者名额是否还有都是需要考虑的风险，不过至少刚刚放出，短期内是相对稳定的。
Candidates must have a valid offer of employment from a Nova Scotia employer for a position in the list below. The offer must for a permanent, full-time position. In order to be considered valid, the job offer must be from a business which has a permanent residence in Nova Scotia and which has been in active operation over the previous two years.
In order for a job offer to be valid for this program, the business must demonstrate that they were unable to find a Canadian permanent resident or citizen to fill the position. This can be shown by obtaining an LMIA, and LMIA-exemption, or through showing that the position was posted on three Canadian job boards for at least four consecutive weeks.

工作经验 Work Experience
申请人必须拥有与已获取工作机会相关的一年以上工作经验。工作经验可以通过提供担保的新省累积、在加拿大其他省份累积，也可在加拿大境外累积获得。
Candidates must have at least one year of work experience in an occupation related to the job offer they have received.
资金证明 Settlement Funds
新斯科舍省省提名候选人需要通过提供自身的财务证明文件或维持就业，证明其满足加拿大移民、难民及公民部制定的有关定居资金的要求。
All candidates for the NSNP must meet thesettlement funds requirement as determined by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada(IRCC). This can be demonstrated through their own finances, or through maintaining a valid offer of employment.
居住意愿 Intention to Reside
申请人还需要提供包括工作机会、家庭关系等在内的证明材料证明其希望在新斯科舍省永久定居的意愿。
Applications also require proof of intention to reside in Ontario permanently, possibly through an Nova Scotia job offer or family connections.
